Motion:Theory:Music brings you an excellent debut EP from Jules David. This body of work brings to mind images of a lush (yet dystopian) landscape with its futuristic and contemplative vibes.
Joining Jules for this release are Vincent Casanova and Timmus, two artists who have delivered incredible remixes with both tracks transformed into their own magical vibe.
His latest work, with a chiaroscuro setting, but where melancholic sounds are mixed with others more euphoric (like life itself), promises to become a benchmark and bring this producer closer to that type of artist who knows how to maintain a constant pulse, without weaknesses throughout his career. In the end, together, they end up forming an album where a very careful balance is achieved between the ambition of their intentions and the greatness of their results, managing to live up to the original, a task that was not easy at all.
Jules David mastery of language is total, and here he has once again delved into the past to draw inspiration from another line, more forceful and melancholy, but no less evocative. All in all, we can safely say that this EP is on the verge of excellence.
