The pioneering French electronic music artist will deliver his first-ever live performance on the island at Amnesia on Sunday, July 5, starting at 8 PM.
Legendary composer, producer, innovator and visionary Jean-Michel Jarre will make his Ibiza debut this summer with an exclusive live show at the iconic club Amnesia.
Recognized as one of the most outstanding artists in the world, Jean-Michel Jarre has been a pioneering figure in the futuristic representation of electronic music for over 50 years. With 22 studio albums and more than 85 million records sold worldwide, his music and performances — known for their boundary-pushing productions — exist at the intersection of technology and innovation.

Famous for his record-breaking concerts performed in front of audiences of millions, Jarre has always placed technology at the core of his shows. A pioneer of multichannel audio, virtual reality and even the metaverse, his immersive productions are often staged at landmark locations such as the Eiffel Tower, Pompeii, the Pyramids of Giza, the Sahara Desert, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Masada and the Dead Sea. His Ibiza debut therefore represents a rare opportunity to experience the French visionary in a more intimate format, bringing his creative universe to Amnesia’s legendary Terrace.
Beforehand, the audience will enjoy a live performance from Berlin-based artist Joplyn. Blending ethereal vocals, melodic depth and cinematic production, her immersive sets channel a contemporary electronic sensibility. Her live performance offers a natural complement to Jean-Michel Jarre’s enduring legacy in live electronic music.
The evening will open with a DJ set by Les Schmitz. A resident at Amnesia since 2003 and deeply connected to the island’s sonic evolution and nightlife culture, this symbolic opening moment will showcase his innate understanding of the club’s acoustics and emotional temperature as he guides the audience toward the night’s climax.
This unique event takes place during Amnesia’s 50th anniversary year — a tangible reminder that after five decades at the forefront of electronic music, the club continues to surprise and deliver new experiences to the island. The anniversary sends a clear message: an invitation to dance from a club that has shaped lives, relationships and careers.
