With every new announcement Satisfaxion puts on the table, our excitement and anticipation for August 8th at Marenostrum Fuengirola only continue to grow. Following the confirmation that legendary band Underworld and iconic DJ Sven Väth would headline the upcoming event, the latest additions maintain exactly the same outstanding level of quality. Bonobo, Christian Löffler and Miguel Payda are three essential artists for anyone who experiences electronic music as a journey, introspection and deep emotional connection.
About Christian Löffler and Miguel Payda
Christian Löffler is a self-taught virtuoso with unmatched sensitivity. In the late 1990s, while still a teenager, he had to rely on creativity and determination to learn music production, and today he stands as one of the most subtle and refined producers in modern techno.
Miguel Payda stands out for the emotional depth present throughout both his DJ sets and productions. Atmospheric harmonies and strong ambient influences intertwine to shape a distinctive and highly personal sound. Combined with carefully curated musical selection, refined technique and constant touches of elegance and restraint, these elements clearly define his artistic identity.
About Bonobo
Bonobo, whose real name is Simon Green, is a British musician, producer and DJ born on March 30th, 1976, in Leeds, England. Known for his eclectic style and ability to blend genres effortlessly, Bonobo debuted in 2000 with the album Animal Magic, which quickly captured the attention of the electronic music scene. His sound — combining elements of trip hop, downtempo and jazz — has evolved continuously over the years while incorporating influences from around the world.
Bonobo is an artist of extraordinary brilliance, capable of moving audiences emotionally like very few others. His mastery, deep understanding of rhythm and innate sense of musical essence make him stand apart, turning his performances into some of the most sought-after experiences on today’s circuit.
About Sven Väth
Using the terminology younger generations might use today, Sven Väth is our father. He is a reference point, a guru, the beacon illuminating the darkness. Sven is not only a musical role model, but also an example of attitude, behavior and artistic integrity — someone to look up to and a voice worth listening to, because wisdom is all one can expect from his words.
With his passion for vinyl, he captivates, hypnotizes and completely draws audiences into his world. During a Sven Väth set, nobody truly knows what might happen next. And that has always been part of the magic.
About Underworld
Underworld is formed by Rick Smith and Karl Hyde. More than 30 years after their groundbreaking debut album dubnobasswithmyheadman and the euphoric generation-defining anthem “Born Slippy (Nuxx)”, they continue to reach new milestones.
The year 2025 marks a modern renaissance for the duo, now boasting more than four decades of artistic history. Their Boiler Room debut this summer surpassed one million views within its first five days, while the recent reissue of their first seven studio albums saw all seven immediately climb to the top of the charts — an achievement never previously accomplished by a single artist.
About Marenostrum Fuengirola
Marenostrum Fuengirola returns in 2026 stronger than ever. Originally created as an initiative by Fuengirola City Council to project the city internationally through music and culture, the venue has become a unique space where music and cultural heritage merge to offer audiences an immersive experience on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, protected by the historic Sohail Castle and the ancient Roman city of Suel.
The impressive Unicaja Stage, located on the hill beside Sohail Castle, can host more than 18,500 attendees. Meanwhile, the more intimate Fundación Unicaja / Castillo Sohail stage embraces a more cultural atmosphere, welcoming smaller-scale performances within its historic walls for up to 2,400 people seeking a closer and more emotional connection with their favorite artists.
