Ibiza welcomes a powerful new chapter this summer with the launch of GALACTICA’s first official island residency at Eden in San Antonio. Running from May through September, the format — developed in collaboration with Cocoricò — presents a bold and uncompromising vision that will carve out a new space for hard techno on the White Isle.
With its own distinct language, defined community and clearly marked sonic identity, GALACTICA places sound at the very heart of the experience at the world-renowned Eden. The concept will showcase a hard, hypnotic and high-intensity take on techno, deeply rooted in the contemporary European underground.
Originally conceived alongside Cocoricò as the first travelling Italian hard techno festival, GALACTICA has rapidly grown into one of the most recognisable brands in the scene. Since its inception, GALACTICA has built its identity by connecting established names from the Italian and international electronic scenes with a new wave of emerging artists. The project’s cosmic theme has naturally evolved into a broader cultural platform and record label, already landing at key clubbing institutions including Nexus in Paris, E1 in London and Fabrik in Madrid.
Now, for the first time, the concept finds a permanent home in Ibiza. The Eden residency aims to fill a clear gap on the island and create a defined space for audiences seeking a more extreme and authentic sonic experience, away from mainstream trends, positioning GALACTICA as a significant new player within Ibiza’s hard techno landscape.
Located in the heart of San Antonio Bay, Eden Ibiza has spent more than two decades as a cornerstone of the island’s nightlife. Opened in 1999 and renovated in 2013, the venue is known for its inclusive ethos, forward-thinking programming and powerful technical setup. Its renowned Incubus Gold by Void sound system, widely regarded as one of the island’s finest, sits at the centre of a multi-room venue designed to deliver fully immersive dancefloor experiences.
Having hosted influential names ranging from Pete Tong and Judge Jules through to Disclosure, Eden continues to balance heritage credibility with future-facing energy. Just moments from San Antonio’s famous sunsets, the club provides a natural bridge between daytime atmosphere and late-night intensity.
At this iconic venue, the GALACTICA residency finds the perfect stage: a meeting point between underground vision and high-spec production that will become the epicentre of hard techno throughout summer 2026.
