Following a string of breakout singles, German singer, songwriter, and composer Marc Grünhäuser, known as Quicche, is ready to drop his highly anticipated debut album Frisia on the iconic R&S Records. Retreating to a secluded house in Northern Germany, he spent a month in isolation, writing, recording, and producing the album with minimal outside contact and limited equipment. This self-imposed solitude allowed him to focus purely on creating music for himself, not for an audience. The title track Frisia emerged during a period of profound self-doubt, when Quicche questioned his place in music.
