Sisko Electrofanatik isn’t just a name in techno—he’s a benchmark. With two decades of experience and an extensive catalog behind him, the Italian producer now distills his expertise into Starboy, his first full-length artist album on Gain Records.
More than a club-ready release, Starboy presents itself as a multi-dimensional narrative. It begins with the titular track, where acidic leads and a dystopian atmosphere set a tone of tension and anticipation. From there, Sisko leads us into the beefy basslines of “Thrust” and the electric noir of “Ziggurath,” each track showcasing his command of sonic momentum.
But what makes Starboy particularly engaging is its refusal to stay confined. “Opale” plunges into hypnotic raw techno, while “Imnot” drives energy levels back up with dubby high-octane layers. “Acidland” changes the script entirely with a detour into cerebral electronica—proof of Sisko’s breadth as a producer.
Vocal features are used sparingly but effectively. “Get Lost” brings a human touch via Lory’s haunting voice, while “Elements,” featuring Leah Rose, pushes into anthem territory with its emotional crescendo. These moments of melodic clarity don’t dilute the techno—rather, they deepen it.
Sisko Electrofanatik has always crafted dancefloor weapons, but with Starboy, he elevates his sound into storytelling. From the club peaks to cinematic lows, it’s a work of cohesion, risk, and maturity—a rare combination in today’s scene.
