Spook heads into September with a programme that once again demonstrates the historic Valencian club’s ability to bring together different generations, styles and scenes under one roof. Across six dates, from September 5 to 26, Spook will present a programme travelling from techno and hard techno to house, rave sounds and cutting-edge electronic music, featuring international artists alongside a strong representation of national talent. The schedule includes leading names such as Prada2000, Kander, Toxic Machinery, Jamie Jones, Ellen Allien, Blanka, Dax J and VIL, as well as different collectives and concepts connected to Spook’s identity. The September programme currently announced includes dates on September 5, 12, 13, 19, 25 and 26.
SEPTEMBER 5 — HÖR SPOOK: PRADA2000, KANDER AND A NIGHT OF RAVE AND HARDCORE
The month will kick off on Saturday, September 5, with a collaboration with HÖR, featuring Prada2000 and Kander as the main protagonists in the Main Room. Prada2000 has established himself as one of the most exciting names among the new generation of artists connected to rave, breakbeat and hard dance sounds, while Kander brings an equally powerful energy and a vision deeply rooted in club culture.
The Main Room lineup will be completed by Guettobusters, Ariezzz and Lucia Gea, while Oven Garden / Spook Sunbox will host the Les Palmes Gathering, featuring Pizzicatto, F-Kid, Caballeri and Briella. An opening to the month focused on energy, rave attitude and a programme specifically designed for the dancefloor. The date also appears in Spook’s schedule as HÖR Valencia, featuring Prada2000, Kander and special guests.
SEPTEMBER 12 — TOXIC MACHINERY AND KRL MX: TECHNO AT ITS MOST POWERFUL
Saturday, September 12, will bring one of the most intense nights of the month, with Toxic Machinery and KRL MX leading the programme in the Main Room. Toxic Machinery has established himself as one of the most recognizable names of the new generation of hard techno, with a direct, powerful sound designed to push dancefloor energy to its limits. Joining him will be KRL MX, another name associated with the new wave of high-intensity techno.
The Main Room will also feature Lucia Gea, DJ Badtrip and Biondo, while Impuls, in Spook The Cube, will bring together Boytek, Adreno, Carlos Flores and Entangled System. The night will also continue at Oven Garden with Cheat Meal, featuring Francis, Néstor, Dalsy and Dani Rubio. The date is confirmed in Spook’s schedule for September 12.
SEPTEMBER 13 — JAMIE JONES COMES TO SPOOK
On Sunday, September 13, Spook will welcome a true institution of the international house scene: Jamie Jones. The founder of Hot Creations and one of the key figures in contemporary house will headline one of the most eagerly anticipated sessions of Spook’s September programme. Jones is known for his ability to combine house, techno and hypnotic grooves in sets built around his own distinctive narrative, and his presence makes this one of the major dates of the month.
The day will also feature the DJ Orders concept, with Pin, Pau Pérez and Sueezo, alongside performances from Fran Hernandez, Favorito, Soeiro, Svenson, Cabeza, Aparici, Barriga and Marco Strap. The event will be an opportunity to connect Spook’s underground identity with one of the most influential figures in global house music. The date also appears in Spook’s published programme as Jamie Jones – Closing Summer.
SEPTEMBER 19 — ELLEN ALLIEN, BLANKA AND THE AVANT-GARDE OF TECHNO
Saturday, September 19, will bring another major night to the club, with Ellen Allien and Blanka leading a special edition of Spook Invites INPUT. A pioneer of Berlin’s electronic music scene and a key figure in the evolution of contemporary techno, Ellen Allien represents one of the deepest connections between innovation, club culture and electronic experimentation. Her appearance at Spook will be one of the major highlights of September.
Joining her will be Blanka, one of the artists who best represents the new generation of high-intensity techno, while Alex Hitch will complete the Main Room lineup. The night will also extend to Spook Sunbox with Yasmin Gardezi, Angelinanyuli and Kanno, while Oven Garden will feature Marco Abella, Elena Megi and Blan.Trrs. SEPTEMBER 25 — INVADERS PRESENTS MDMA GANG
Friday, September 25, will see Invaders take over with its MDMA GANG concept in Spook’s Main Room. Leading the lineup will be El Desperado, joined by Me Das Mucho Amor, Ogalla, Toni Massama, Hardsuel, Spicy Xorizo and Raul B.
The night will represent the most direct, powerful and provocative side of Spook’s programme, with a selection of artists connected to the new currents of electronic music and rave culture. The event appears in Spook’s programme as INVADERS pres. MDMA GANG 2.
SEPTEMBER 26 — DAX J, VIL AND THE 11TH ANNIVERSARY OF SPECIAL-K
The month will come to an end on Saturday, September 26, with a double bill combining high-voltage techno and a very special celebration. In the Main Room, Dax J will be one of the night’s main protagonists alongside VIL, Finalversion3 and Stroc. Dax J is one of the fundamental figures in contemporary techno, with a career closely connected to industrial, rave and hardcore sounds and a reputation built on hugely intense sets.
At the same time, Spook Sunbox will host the 11th anniversary of Special-K, with Tama Sumo and Silverlining as the main attractions, joined by Badano, Ines Cartas, Pizzicatto, Varis, Tommaso Pizzelli, Sueezo and Francis. The combination makes the closing weekend of September one of the most complete dates on the calendar, bringing together two different yet complementary visions of club culture. Both the Dax J and VIL date and the 11th anniversary of Special-K are confirmed in Spook’s programme.
A SEPTEMBER THAT DEFINES SPOOK’S IDENTITY
With this programme, Spook once again asserts its role as one of the fundamental spaces for electronic music culture in Valencia. Located in Pinedo and with a history dating back to 1984, the club was one of the epicentres of the Ruta del Bakalao and continues today to champion contemporary electronic music and a programme capable of connecting its legacy with new generations.
Six dates, several concepts and a selection of artists representing some of the most exciting currents in contemporary electronic music. Once again, September turns Spook into an essential destination for understanding the present and future of Valencia’s club scene.
