Soul Central’s ‘Strings of Life / Un Amore Supremo’ gets the full remix treatment by Bart Skils & Weska
Bart Skils & Weska return to Drumcode with powerful new remix of Soul Central’s iconic ‘Strings of Life / Un Amore Supremo’, bringing a timeless dancefloor classic into the modern techno era.
The remix was birthed in the club. Originally created as an edit by Bart Skils and Weska, their rework of Soul Central’s ‘Strings of Life / Un Amore Supremo’ quickly became a standout moment in their sets, highlighting events including Junction 2, Time Warp, Loveland and Drumcode’s Buenos Aires event.
It retains the instantly recognisable melodic identity of the original while giving the track a powerful contemporary techno treatment. Driving percussion, a heavyweight low end and carefully built tension bring a new intensity to the original, designed squarely for peak-time moments.
The project continues Bart Skils and Weska’s long-standing collaborative history on Drumcode following standout cuts including ‘For The Music’ and ‘Something More’ and ‘Polarize’, among many others.
