Long-time UK techno architect Dave Clarke dropped ‘Wisdom To The Wise’ as part of his seminal Red Series, and it became an instant underground favourite that still gets played regularly across the globe. Voorn is an in-demand remixer who has added his touch to everyone from Dua Lipa and Vintage Culture to Underworld and Röyksopp. He approaches this brilliant new rework with care, keeping the original’s techno foundations while layering in his own synth work for an updated, contemporary edge. The drums roll deep and heavy, with widescreen metallic chords rattling over the punchy grooves and tension building through sleek pads and glitchy percussive textures.
