On October 11, METRO Dance Club brings back the spirit of its legendary Sundays with an intergenerational gathering headlined by Danish trio WhoMadeWho performing a Hybrid DJ Set.
Some Sundays stay with us forever. Sundays when time seemed to stand still, music was all we needed to forget everything else, and the dance floor became a place where generations came together to share freedom, emotions and unforgettable moments. On Sunday, October 11, METRO Dance Club will recapture that spirit with a very special event that looks back on the past while continuing to move towards the future.
From 1:30 pm, Urban Food will open its doors, setting the scene for a Sunday designed for everyone: those who experienced METRO during the first decade of the 1990s, those who discovered its nights throughout the 2000s and 2010s, and a new generation that has taken up the baton, carrying electronic music into new territories. It will be a reunion of different eras and generations, united by something that has never changed: a passion for music and dancing together.
The club will open its doors at 4 pm, kicking off a programme specially designed to turn this Sunday into a celebration of METRO’s history and present.
WhoMadeWho, the Stars of a Sunday to Remember
At the heart of this celebration will be WhoMadeWho, arriving at METRO with a Hybrid DJ Set. Over the years, the group has created its own distinctive universe, where the boundaries between electronic and organic music, melodies and live performance almost completely disappear.
Their sound combines sensitivity, emotion and club energy, turning every performance into an experience that goes far beyond a conventional DJ set. The group describes its music as a space where emotion comes first, blending electronic and organic elements through a constant process of evolution.
WhoMadeWho’s relationship with the international electronic music scene has been shaped by collaborations with artists such as Rampa, Adriatique, Kölsch, RY X, Blue Hawaii, Mind Against and DJ Tennis, as well as an extensive track record of performances at clubs and festivals around the world. Their recent work continues to explore both Live and Hybrid DJ Set formats, highlighting the versatility of a project that moves effortlessly between the dance floor and live performance.
Their arrival at METRO therefore represents much more than the appearance of a major international act. It is an opportunity to connect the club’s legendary Sunday memories with one of the most distinctive projects in contemporary electronic music.
