A Historic Closing for the Iconic Club, Entering Its 50th Anniversary Proving That the True Spirit of Clubbing Is Still Alive in Ibiza
Last weekend, the legendary Ibiza venue Amnesia celebrated its Closing Festival 2025, an edition that began on Saturday at 10 p.m. and stretched until 1:18 p.m. on Sunday, defying time, torrential rain, and the modern stereotypes of the new wave of soulless clubs.
Two nights and one unforgettable morning where music was the true protagonist.

— “It had been a long time since my eyes filled with tears as I sang and saw the entire temple singing along. The energy inside Amnesia was pure freedom; we were all united—free in the music, free in the moment. A storm over the island, a sunrise at Amnesia, and a B2B that refused to stop… It was magical. Ibiza, never lose your soul.” — Luciano
True to the season’s eclectic musical palette, the closing spanned two consecutive nights, covering the full sonic spectrum of Amnesia.
Friday, October 10 kicked off with the expansive energy of Angel Lee and Arielle Free, followed by a powerful B2B between Faster Horses and Kyle Starkey, further heating up the Terrace. Later, Ben Hemsley sealed his debut residency at Amnesia with strength before Jan took over to close out the night.
Meanwhile, in the Main Room, Katnada, SNTS, 999999999, and Lee Ann Roberts delivered a relentless dose of raw techno.
The highlight of every summer has always been Saturday’s closing, and despite the heavy rain, this year was no exception. The spirit of Amnesia remained untouched, and the dancefloor never emptied—not for a single second.

In the Main Room, Nina Kraviz, Deborah De Luca, Fatima Hajji, Onyvaa, Andres Campo, and Luca Donzelli unleashed unfiltered techno, while on the Terrace, East End Dubs closed one of the most talked-about residencies of the summer, joined by CAAL, Mar-T, Sidney Charles b2b Gaskin, Max Dean, and Marco Faraone.
As daylight broke and the island awoke drenched in rain, cars kept arriving. During what has already become a legendary B2B between Luciano and Josh Baker, the crowd never stopped dancing. At 11:50 a.m., Ultra Naté’s remix of “Free” became a collective anthem, as a message appeared on the screens:
“Ibiza, don’t lose your soul.”
That powerful and enduring statement closed a historic summer for one of the island’s most emblematic clubs — a response to the growing debate about the evolution of Ibiza’s scene and the increasing visibility of VIP culture.
Yet, as the Amnesia crowd proved — dancing until 1:18 p.m. — the authentic Ibiza experience is still alive, and its legendary club scene continues to pulse… if you know where to find it.
