Bedouin’s enigmatic and award-winning Ibizan residency, SAGA, an essential part of the island’s history since 2017, begins a new chapter this summer on Sundays at Chinois, the nomadic-spirited club located in the heart of Ibiza’s Marina inside the Ibiza Gran Hotel.
Recognised as one of the most coveted projects on the underground scene, Bedouin, formed by Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe, fuse diverse influences with their own global roots to bring to life SAGA, a musical experience that shares a myriad of cultures with visitors from all over the world. Bedouin shares the values Chinois Ibiza is known for: diversity, connection and community, through exceptional music, a dancefloor-focused experience, a striking visual universe and the feeling of a timeless journey.
Every Sunday from June 29th to September 28th, SAGA opens a portal to a transcendental experience, presenting Malki and Abousabe’s unmistakable fusion of melodic deep house and global music, accompanied by a soon-to-be-revealed cast of the world’s best DJs. In previous seasons, SAGA has hosted artists such as Damian Lazarus, DJ Tennis, Seth Troxler, Desiree, Jan Blomqvist, Jimi Jules, Joseph Capriati, Mano Le Tough, Nandu, Luciano, WhoMadeWho, among many others.
Beyond Ibiza, Bedouin’s SAGA movement transcends borders, bringing unique electronic music experiences to cities such as Istanbul, Marrakech, London, Barcelona, Çeşme, Mykonos, New York, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, among others. Additionally, Bedouin has performed at iconic festivals and events such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, Burning Man, Club Space Miami, Zamna Tulum, and starred in an innovative hybrid live set with Cercle in Malki’s native Petra, Jordan. As producers, multi-instrumentalists, lyricists, and vocalists, they have released their music and remixes on prestigious labels such as CircoLoco Records, Cercle Records, Crosstown Rebels, All Day I Dream, Nervous Records, Atlantic/Big Beat, Ultra, and Sony/Universal. Additionally, they front their own label, Human By Default, where they have released their debut album and released work by artists such as Nandu, Notre Dame, and remixes by Vintage Culture, LP Giobbi, Damian Lazarus, Catz ‘n Dogz, among others.
