Some parties become part of Ibiza’s history; others are the ones that write it. Cocoon undoubtedly belongs to the latter. On Sunday, July 19, Sven Väth’s legendary brand returns to Amnesia Ibiza to celebrate its 27th anniversary, on the very same date that one of the island’s most influential residencies first began. As part of Amnesia Ibiza’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the night has been conceived as a tribute to the past, present and future of techno, bringing together some of the genre’s most iconic artists for a truly unforgettable lineup.
Leading the celebration is Sven Väth, the undisputed soul of Cocoon and one of electronic music’s greatest pioneers. Widely regarded as one of the most influential DJs of all time, the German icon has shaped the evolution of techno for more than three decades through his ability to craft long, hypnotic and deeply emotional sets. His relationship with Ibiza—and particularly with Amnesia—has produced some of the most defining moments in modern club culture.
Joining him is Richie Hawtin, one of the world’s foremost innovators in electronic music. A pioneer of minimal techno, visionary producer and leading figure in the fusion of technology and music, Hawtin is renowned for his extraordinary technical precision and immersive performances that effortlessly balance experimentation with dancefloor energy.
Also on the lineup is Nina Kraviz, one of the most charismatic and influential artists on the global electronic scene. The Russian DJ and producer has developed a distinctive musical language where techno, acid and electro converge through unpredictable selections and magnetic performances that make every set a unique experience.
Representing the harder edge of the lineup is Len Faki, one of Berlin’s most respected techno artists. A long-standing Berghain resident, his powerful yet elegant sound combines industrial intensity with impeccable storytelling, creating marathon sets that keep dancefloors locked in from beginning to end.
The deeper and more sophisticated side of the night comes courtesy of Dana Ruh, the German artist celebrated for her refined approach to minimal and underground house. Her performances are defined by subtle mixing, rolling grooves and a musical sensitivity that creates an effortless connection with the crowd.
Completing the lineup is Mateo Dufour, one of the most exciting emerging talents within the Cocoon universe. Blending contemporary techno with minimalist influences and an expertly curated musical selection, he continues to establish himself as one of the artists shaping the future of the iconic brand.
More than two decades after revolutionising Ibiza’s electronic music scene, Cocoon returns to the venue where its legendary story began to prove that its essence remains stronger than ever. A historic celebration that will bring together generations of clubbers under one roof and is set to become one of the defining nights of the 2026 summer season.
