The Haitian DJ and producer joins forces with North African percussionist Nadrums, Moroccan guitarist Neyl, and the legendary Malian duo Amadou & Mariam
Francis Mercier continues to surprise us, confidently showcasing the burst of energy that defines him. Despite being immersed in a never-ending world tour, he has found the time to create a hypnotic and catchy track that is set to become one of this summer’s hits. “Halala” is a perfect example of how African and Caribbean rhythms flow seamlessly together, creating an inspiring sound that keeps you moving on the dancefloor.
“Halala” brings together Haitian DJ and producer Francis Mercier, North African percussionist Nadrums, Moroccan guitarist Neyl, and the legendary Grammy-nominated Malian duo Amadou & Mariam, uniting their Afro-Caribbean talents to create this explosive, high-energy summer release. It marks the official follow-up collaboration to “Sete,” which reached the Billboard Dance Top 50.
Francis Mercier has played a key role in the global expansion of afro house. His creative platform has supported emerging talent and built an international community that prioritizes artistic identity, cultural roots, and emotion over passing trends. Nadrums (Nadir) is a Moroccan percussionist, DJ, and producer whose performances bring a powerful live dimension to electronic music. Based between Morocco and France, he combines years of drumming experience with house and afro house, creating sets known for their energy and depth.
Neyl’s tracks and remixes are featured in live sets by electronic music pioneers such as Adriatique, Solomun, and Keinemusik. With his innovative approach and genre-crossing style, Neyl continues to captivate audiences and push musical boundaries. Malian music finds one of its most vibrant expressions in Amadou Bagayoko and Mariam Doumbia. The pair, who met in the late 1970s at an institute for the blind in their home country, first gained recognition through their interpretations of Malian blues, but their restless creativity has always led them to explore new sounds and collaborate across genres and cultures.
Without a doubt, this track will be heard loud and clear during his residency at Hï Ibiza, Francis Mercier Presents Solèy. A new venture conceived as a sensory and multicultural journey that turns Mondays into a weekly celebration of sounds from all corners of the world. From June 1 to October 5, the Haitian DJ and producer will lead 19 dates, opening a new chapter in the programming of the World’s No.1 Club.
