On November 7, the new Valencia venue will host more than ten hours of house music featuring Folamour, Dan Shake, Demi Riquísimo and a strong representation of the local scene.
Roig Arena is preparing to host an unprecedented event in its music programme on November 7. HOUSE ARENA will bring an experience entirely dedicated to house music to Valencia’s new large-scale venue for the first time, transforming its central floor into a meeting point for international artists, local collectives and a community that has continued to grow in recent years.
Driven by ELENCO House and The Basement, HOUSE ARENA was conceived to make the most of the possibilities offered by Roig Arena: a large, indoor venue capable of accommodating events of different scales. For this inaugural edition, it will be transformed to deliver an experience focused specifically on the dancefloor.
The first edition will take place exclusively on Roig Arena’s central floor, with a single stage and a capacity limited to 6,500 people. This configuration aims to create a more direct connection between the audience and the artists, bringing the entire experience together in one space and avoiding the dispersal often associated with large-scale festivals.
The concept is particularly significant given the characteristics of the venue itself. HOUSE ARENA is not simply arriving at Roig Arena as another event, but as a project specifically designed to explore the potential of a space that can combine large-scale production with an intimate experience. For more than ten hours, the central floor will become a vast house music dancefloor, with a production tailored to the venue’s architecture and dimensions.
The project also has a clear ambition to grow. The format will allow future editions to evolve through the gradual opening of the stands, increasing capacity, as well as the possibility of incorporating new spaces and stages. The inaugural edition therefore marks the starting point of a project designed to establish itself in Valencia’s music calendar and grow alongside the venue itself.
An International Lineup with a Valencian Identity
The HOUSE ARENA programme brings together different generations and approaches to house music, combining some of the most prominent international names on today’s scene with artists and collectives directly connected to Valencia.
The main attraction will be Folamour, who will perform in Valencia for the first time. The French artist has become one of the leading international figures in contemporary house music, thanks to a sound that blends groove, soul, disco and funk, as well as his renowned ability to create sets that establish a strong connection with the audience.
Joining him will be Dan Shake, an artist closely connected to The Basement’s journey and a much-loved figure within Valencia’s electronic music community. Demi Riquísimo, one of the most prominent names in the new generation of British house music, will also make his debut in the city, bringing a sound that connects rave culture with contemporary influences.
The local scene will be represented by The Basement Soundsystem, the host platform and one of the key projects in the development of Valencia’s electronic music scene over the past decade. The lineup will also feature Derali, one of the city’s emerging talents, as well as Marc Strap and Whatever Charles, the respective co-founders of ELENCO House and The Basement.
They will be responsible for closing the inaugural edition with an exclusive B2B set, created especially for HOUSE ARENA and reflecting the collaboration between the two platforms behind the project.
More Than Ten Hours of House Music in a New Electronic Music Venue
HOUSE ARENA will take place on Saturday, November 7, from 5 pm to 1 am, featuring more than ten hours of uninterrupted programming across a single stage.
The event also marks a new step in the relationship between Roig Arena and electronic music, demonstrating the venue’s potential to host formats specifically designed around club culture and the dancefloor.
