BIIANCO is a multi-million-streaming, multi-talented, mad scientist/synth & modular engineer/multi-instrumentalist/vocalist/DJ/live artist, with accolades as myriad as their multiple skills. Following recent hit ‘2Hard2Luv’ on Berlin’s indie Polyamor imprint, the partially-sighted queer producer returns to Ultra with high octane single ‘Bassline Vandal’.
The high energy cut’s already had spins from tastemakers inc. Mija, Spacer Woman, at festivals around the world including DGTL (NL), Rise Fest (FR), Miami Music Week, and featured on @Backyardmix’s ‘Transition Breakdown’ series. Says BIIANCO, ‘I wrote the track roughly half a year ago and it’s become both a staple and a standout in my sets since. You can hear the influence of living in London in this track, with some speed garage tinges coming out.’
‘Bassline Vandal’: fast and fizzing with acid-edged reverb and a full-on defiant, in your face rap manifesto from BIIANCO, who describes it as ‘a hardgroove bouncy funky banger soaked with Sammy Virji-esque attitude and set over Doechii-like vocals.’ What’s not to love?
