METODI breathes new life into JD Davis’s 2004 classic “Closer To Me” with his latest release! A peak-time techno anthem built on the bones of a track which inspired his career and shaped his style! A bass-heavy, emotionally charged banger that lands July 4th on his imprint Set About Music.
This new release also marks another milestone in METODI’s career, having the opportunity to work with one of the people who sparked his imagination to become the artist he is today, and in addition, JD Davis also collaborated on this recent remake:

Dave Davis best known as JD Davis is a Belgian singer, he made a name for himself in the electronic music scene by lending his voice and contributing to the composition of notable productions such as Chab’s ‘Closer to Me’ (2004) a deep Progressive house classic that remains one of his most loved tracks; and for work with David Guetta in tracks like ‘The World is Mine’ and `In Love with Myself’.
