In his latest EP, Mutation, released via the always forward-thinking T H I S B E Recordings, Pyrame sets out to map the emotional landscape of a world in permanent flux. With a firm grip on electro’s mechanical pulse, punk’s anarchic spirit, and new wave’s cinematic melancholy, Pyrame delivers four tracks that feel both intensely personal and eerily universal.
The opening track pulses with urgency, layering modular synth patterns with whispered vocals and distorted rhythmic textures. It’s a soundtrack to modern disorientation—beautiful, volatile, and strangely hopeful. Pyrame describes the record as “a postmodern scenario,” one shaped by cultural acceleration and emotional turbulence.

The remixes open new dimensions within the core concept. H.L.M. channels a darker, almost ritualistic energy, drawing out the tension in Pyrame’s composition. Oltrefuturo’s rework glistens with analog warmth and syncopated percussion, offering a brief oasis in an otherwise chaotic sonic narrative. Meanwhile, Acid Washed leans into funkier territory, giving the track an urban, retro-futurist twist.
Mutation isn’t just a musical project—it’s a philosophical one. Available now across all platforms, it stands as one of Pyrame’s most conceptually rich works to date.
