The promoter expands its UNLOCKED and AURA programming, while the Unlocked Music Festival will return in July as part of the Castellammare del Golfo Art Music Week.
UNLOCKED, the Sicilian collective redefining the relationship between world-class electronic music and the island’s cultural heritage, has today announced the next chapter of its growing series of events. Through its UNLOCKED and AURA brands, the group will bring three of the most respected names in international electronic music — Deborah De Luca, Joseph Capriati and Patrick Topping — to venues that very few promoters in the world could ever access.
The announcement follows an extraordinary run of success. The inaugural AURA Festival at the Segesta Archaeological Park and the landmark event featuring techno pioneer Richie Hawtin in Palermo both sold out. In addition, UNLOCKED was named Best Festival at the 2025 Dance Music Awards, confirming its reputation as a project capable of pairing world-renowned artists with locations of rare historical and cultural significance. These milestones have set the stage for an ambitious continuation of the series.
UNLOCKED MUSIC FESTIVAL with Marco Carola, Ilario Alicante and Frank Storm
The programme also includes the return of the Unlocked Music Festival on July 25th, featuring Marco Carola, Ilario Alicante and Frank Storm — three of the most defining voices in the international house and techno scene. The festival will form part of the Castellammare Art Music Week, further strengthening UNLOCKED’s role within Sicily’s cultural and musical calendar.
AURA presents Joseph Capriati and Patrick Topping at Sistema delle Piazze, Gibellina
Under the AURA brand — a concept born in Segesta and dedicated to staging premium electronic music experiences within some of Sicily’s most evocative heritage venues — UNLOCKED will present Joseph Capriati and Patrick Topping on August 14th at the Sistema delle Piazze in Gibellina.
Capriati, one of the most acclaimed artists in the global electronic scene and a regular headliner on the world’s biggest stages, will perform in the city named Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2026, further extending AURA’s mission of opening extraordinary locations to new audiences.
UNLOCKED Party presents Deborah De Luca at Castello dei Conti di Modica, Alcamo
Under the UNLOCKED PARTY brand, the organisation will present Deborah De Luca on August 22nd at the Castello dei Conti di Modica in Alcamo. One of the most recognisable figures in international techno, the Italian artist will bring her signature energy to this 14th-century Chiaramonte fortress in the heart of western Sicily, a historic stronghold linked to the Counts of Modica for over four centuries.
Together, these events represent the continuation of a clear and ambitious vision: to present the finest electronic music artists in culturally significant locations and to establish Sicily as an international destination for unforgettable musical experiences.
With each edition selling out and venues becoming increasingly remarkable, UNLOCKED and AURA are rapidly establishing themselves as one of the most distinctive and innovative forces in European electronic music.
