Electronic music has always been at the heart of Swiss natural energy drinks brand El Tony Mate. Through the El Tony Culture Collective, the brand creates projects that support the electronic music scene. As part of this initiative, the El Tony Mate Producer Academy on Ibiza returns for its second edition, giving eight emerging electronic music producers the opportunity to learn from coaches SKALA and Kid Simius. Following a successful first year that brought talented artists together to create music, share ideas and build lasting connections, the Academy is back to support the next generation of electronic music producers.

Supported by Beatport, the El Tony Mate Producer Academy gives upcoming electronic music producers the chance to learn from experienced coaches, meet other producers and spend a week creating music together. Ellen Fölmli, Culture Specialist at El Tony Mate, says: ‘Electronic music has always been at the heart of El Tony Mate. Through the El Tony Mate Producer Academy, by bringing together emerging producers and experienced mentors, we’re empowering the next generation of artists – investing directly in the people who will shape electronic music’s future. For us, supporting culture means creating real opportunities.’

THE CHALLENGE: to win a place in the 2026 Academy, create a remix or original track using exclusive sample/stem packs by coaches SKALA and Kid Simius. Closing date to apply, 23.08. Entries will be evaluated by coaches, the El Tony Mate team, and project partner Beatport, to select 8 winners to go forward to the Academy.

THE PRIZE: a week-long music production course in iconic Ibiza, for 8 talented producers from anywhere in Europe,October 1st to October 7th 2026. El Tony will provide through the Academy:

– Intensive coaching with SKALA and Kid Simius – production, mixing, sound design, arrangement

– Insights into the Ibiza scene: clubs, studios, artists, plus activities, networking, plus activities (did someone say boat trips?..)

– Flights, incredible villa accommodation & food included

– Potential follow-up support (e.g. label opportunities and access to Beatport network)

More about the coaches:

SKALA, Berlin-based DJ/producer/vocalist/Amaeo label head, fuses organic percussion, glitchy elements, synthesized leads, heavy bass lines & airy melodies. Her tracks have graced the Beatport Top 50 Charts in Melodic Techno/Electronica. Her global reach covers Off Sonar, Klein Phoenix (Istanbul), Electric Brixton (London), and tours across India, Central America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Kid Simius is the Spanish maestro of Italo/Balearic House, Disco… , live act, & Jirafa Records Label head.
