The track has been taking shape for over a year. Beyer is a long-time champion of DJ Jock’s productions, with the Split-based artist previously dropping heat on Intec, Umek’s 1605, and his own imprint Roots, which also doubles as an event series. He’s a champion of the Balkan techno scene and the absolute go-to when the likes of Beyer, Carl Cox and Amelie Lens hit the region to set the energy right. Meanwhile, his annual all-night long sets at local institutions such as Split’s Porat club are the stuff of legends.
‘Let Loose’ begun as a sketch from DJ Jock who shared it with Beyer in early 2025, and immediately the Drumcode founder heard the seeds of something special. Swapping files back and forth over the next 12-18 month, the final track took shape.
Sampling a famous System of a Down vocal line, ‘Let Loose’ is a rousing dancefloor juggernaut, marked by crisp production, a huge hook-laden vocal and rolling grooves. An instant winner that’s highlighted everything from Resistance at Ultra Miami to 909 Festival in Amsterdam.
