Hello, Roni Rix and EVRSN here. We are the core of the CY4NIX team. Complex and rich electronic music will always be our priority. Finding and discovering talented musicians and broadcasting our musical taste into the techno world.
How does PANDEMIC RAVE bring together elements of cyberpunk and hard techno to create an immersive rave experience?
— We take the existing objective perception of this fantastic and utopian culture and bring our own vision to it by mixing it with heavy electronics. The appropriate design of the space, the visuals and the people themselves contribute to the formation of that very atmosphere.
What are some of the challenges in maintaining both a strong visual and sonic identity at such large-scale events?
— There are quite a lot of difficulties. These may be limitations of space, human presence or financial factors. But in any situation and at any level, the creativity of the team always wins out.
How does the VA PRECISION compilation reflect the variety of moods and states within the hard techno genre?
— In a PRECISE and most direct way. It combines both a new trend and a well-interpreted old sound.
How important is it for you to continuously innovate with high-tech visuals and sounds to keep your audience engaged?
— It is not so important to constantly introduce something new, but to use existing technologies and functionality correctly. There is always a desire to do something like no one has ever done before. This is appreciated by our audience.
How does PANDEMIC RAVE balance the global diversity of artists with a cohesive event experience?
— We like the themes and culture of cyberpunk. We also like techno music and its heavier forms. Music is a universal language of communication and we find it by talking to artists all over the world. So borders and distances do not matter.
How have the shranz and acid influences helped shape the overall feel of the new release?
— I think it’s wonderful. Don’t you think so?)
How does PANDEMIC RAVE reflect the current state of underground music and rave culture?
— We do not limit ourselves to the framework of the underground and are constantly developing and moving forward in search of something new and interesting. But we have definitely firmly taken our place on the hard techno scene of St. Petersburg.
