Charlotte de Witte’s set at Belgium’s Rock Werchter on July 3rd will be one for the ages… one that people will forever say ‘I was there to witness it’.
It’s going to be history-making. Something never seen or done before.
The world’s No. 1 techno artist, de Witte is currently touring her astonishing ‘The Resistance’ audiovisual show to great acclaim, but when it hits her home country for Rock Werchter festival in Belgium, lucky attendees in ‘The Barn’ 20,000 capacity tent will see something unique – an XXL version, if you will. Now, 3 weeks out from the show, she shares some footage from early ‘The Resistance’ shows as a taste of what’s in store…
For the show’s jaw dropping immersive visuals, de Witte worked withJohanna Jaskowksa, digital artist and creative technologist, renowned for pushing boundaries between technology and visual culture. Her work explores what identity and creativity can look like beyond physical limitations, from viral AR experiences, to speculative digital worlds, using AI, CGI and photography.
