CG’S STREAMING SMASH RECEIVES KILLER REWIRE FROM FAST-RISING ARGENTINE DUO
Trance legends Nic & Bossi, better known as COSMIC GATE, have been in the dance scene for 20 years now, but they are clearly not slowing down yet. After giving ‘The Truth’ its ‘2.0’ treatment back in October, this month Nic & Bossi have shifted their remix’s focus to a more recent COSMIC GATE anthem. Since its debut in 2016, ‘am2pm’ has captured the hearts of fans: after ‘Fire Wire’ and ‘Exploration Of Space’, it’s the most loved and streamed CG release on Spotify!
While the Cosmic Gate x ANUNNAKI connection goes back a decade or more, this could be the first time you meet the Argentine couple. If so, it probably won’t be the last! On the studio front, the pair have been in intense production over the past 12 months, inking and releasing on labels such as Avanti, Black Hole Recordings, FSOE, UV, Perfecto and VANDIT. And now they did their first big remix… and given their history with Cosmic Gate, it could hardly be a more appropriate one.
Those paying closer attention may have already chosen the Anunnakis’ ‘am2pm’ reworking as the identifying pearl in the shell of Cosmic Gate’s stunning mid-October Bali sunset livestream. The Anunnakis have slowed the primetime push of ‘am2pm’, approaching it with an increasingly disturbing mentality. Lower tempos and houseier drum loops combine with rich bass, an ethereal submelody, and galactic effects, all of which speak to their cooler intentions.
