On October 5, the Haitian DJ and producer will bring his Hï Ibiza residency to a close with a special night alongside Shimza, Satori, Apache B2B Vanjee and Gudfella.
Some seasons mark a before and after. On Monday, October 5, Francis Mercier will celebrate the Solèy Closing Party at Hï Ibiza, bringing his first residency at one of the most iconic clubs on the international electronic music scene to a close. Throughout the season, the Haitian artist has brought a concept to the Theatre that goes beyond dance music to become a multicultural experience, bringing together sounds and influences from Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Europe.
The closing night will feature a lineup bringing together some of the leading representatives of global electronic music, starting with Francis Mercier himself, who will share the spotlight with Shimza, one of the leading ambassadors of South African Afro House. The DJ and producer has developed a sound that combines African roots with elements of house and techno, creating highly rhythmic sets with a distinctive identity. His work as an artist and promoter, particularly through his Kunye project, has also helped bring international attention to South Africa’s electronic music scene.
Joining them will be Satori, the Dutch producer and DJ known for his distinctive fusion of electronic music, organic instruments and sounds inspired by different musical traditions. His approach, which moves between Organic House, Downtempo and melodic electronic music, is characterised by immersive atmospheres in which electronic rhythms coexist with acoustic instruments and elements from different cultures. His performances, sometimes presented in Live format, invite audiences to experience music as a constantly evolving sensory journey.
The lineup will also feature a special B2B set from Apache and Vanjee, bringing another rhythmic dimension to the night, alongside Gudfella, who will join the celebration with a sound connected to the global side of electronic music. Together, they will complete a programme that reflects the open and multicultural spirit at the heart of Solèy.
October 5 will be much more than a farewell. It will be a celebration of a season in which Francis Mercier has brought his vision of music as a universal language to Hï Ibiza, creating a space where cultures, generations and different sensibilities can come together. It will be one final opportunity to experience the energy of Solèy in the Theatre and close a residency that has marked a new chapter in the artist’s career.
