Next Monday, June 1st, an exciting new adventure begins as Francis Mercier sets out to leave an unforgettable mark on Ibiza.
Some nights are built around a sound that envelops the dancefloor like an atmosphere; others materialise a concept explored as a new landscape, while some combine both elements into a perfect experience — as is the case with Francis Mercier Presents Solèy. A new residency at Hï Ibiza conceived as a sensory and multicultural journey that transforms Mondays into a weekly celebration of sounds united from every corner of the world.
Everything will begin on June 1st with what promises to be an epic opening party in the Theatre room, featuring a line-up guaranteed to leave you speechless. The night will begin with a b2b between Jaguar and Peaty, globally recognised for their live mixes and sets rooted in Afro House, Melodic House and percussive rhythms. Next up will be Liva K b2b Banco, who will keep the dancefloor moving with their melodic and analogue-infused house sound.
Anané & Louie Vega will deliver a unique musical experience on the dancefloor, combining the talent of Grammy Award-winning house master Louie Vega with acclaimed DJ, producer, artist and Nulu Records label director Anané. Like in a film, music creates the soundtrack to our lives. Whether on the beach or inside a club, every choice has to feel right — and that is exactly what Anané & Louie bring to some of the world’s most extraordinary destinations: a seamless blend of global dance music creating a colourful sonic palette that accompanies the crowd from day into night.
You cannot miss the special live act from Naïka. The French-Haitian artist will perform several songs alongside Francis during his set on June 1st at the Solèy opening party. Naïka has built a global audience of more than 2 million followers, surpassing 165 million streams across all platforms. She is not only a musical force, but also a prominent figure in fashion and visual storytelling.
And finally, the great protagonist of this event: Francis Mercier. The artist grew up in Haiti listening to classic house sounds, but it was after arriving in New York that he became infected with the electronic music virus and decided to begin a career that has led him to where he is today. His style is world music presented through the lens of house music, incorporating influences from multiple cultures. Francis has produced records with African flavours, Brazilian flavours, featuring Brazilian vocalists, African vocalists and singers from the United States — music centred around “the journey”, designed to make listeners travel emotionally and feel transported to different places at the same time.
