The roster of artists performing on September 25th and 26th at LABoral Centro de Arte in Gijón far exceeds all expectations.
Lanna Festival continues to take giant steps forward year after year, creating an unmatched atmosphere while delivering a programme that rivals the world’s finest electronic music festivals. For its 2026 edition, the festival doubles down on quality and talent with a constellation of artists capable of extracting the very essence of electronic music. Lanna Festival returns to LABoral Centro de Arte in Gijón on the weekend of September 25th and 26th, and everything points towards a third consecutive sold-out edition. Prepare yourself to witness the unwavering respect for the philosophy of the Asturian temple that gives the festival its name: enthusiasm for the rules of club culture, dedication to impeccable sound quality and a stimulating balance between the great pioneers of international techno and the emerging blood and established realities of the Spanish scene.
A STRONG COMMITMENT TO THE LIVE CONCEPT
At a time when electronic music festivals often avoid risks and lean towards safer programming, Lanna Festival chooses the more challenging path and embraces live performances without hesitation. Its line-up is a clear reflection of this commitment.
Christian Wünsch will deliver an intense and futuristic sonic construction, combining industrial rhythms, dark textures and flawless technical precision. Civic Instruction creates immersive sonic landscapes where tension and depth take centre stage. L.F.T.’s live performance will flood the dancefloor with mechanical sounds, forceful grooves and a strong old-school influence.
Do not miss Phase Fatale, whose live format combines EBM, post-punk and hypnotic techno with a cold and enveloping energy. Regis will bring raw, minimalist and deeply hypnotic sounds with a constant tension aimed at the most demanding dancefloors. The Spy presents dark electro and techno infused with industrial and cinematic influences. Victims Of Secrecy will focus on experimental electronics and highly intense industrial techno.
Finally, two absolutely essential performances. The first comes from The Fear Ratio, the project led by James Ruskin and Mark Broom, combining techno, ambient, IDM and experimental electronics into a cerebral and atmospheric live show filled with textures and emotional depth. The second is Surgeon & Lady Starlight, the legendary collaboration between two absolute references of experimental techno. Their live act merges analogue improvisation, acid, industrial and avant-garde electronics into an intense and visceral experience.
SETS FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS
Beyond its outstanding live performances, the DJ sets taking place at Lanna Festival are guaranteed to leave audiences speechless. And who better to lead this stellar cast than Jeff Mills, true Detroit legend and one of the most influential artists in techno history thanks to his technique, speed and futuristic vision of electronic music. Returning once again to Lanna Festival is the great Oscar Mulero, the ultimate reference point of Spanish techno and one of the most respected artists on the global circuit for his hypnotic, dark and deeply immersive sets.
DJ Nobu is undoubtedly the Japanese legend of underground techno. His sessions are deep, hypnotic and spiritual, built through a slow and immersive narrative capable of completely transforming the dancefloor. Annie Hall develops dynamic and precise sets where groove, energy and a strong analogue identity coexist. Matrixxman will offer a refined selection of electro, industrial techno and futuristic sounds with remarkable technical sophistication.
Nastia Reigel brings a powerful and versatile approach to modern techno, combining hypnotic moments, industrial grooves and explosive energy. Jamaica Suk will move fluidly between atmospheric depth and club-oriented intensity. James Shinra is known for melodic and futuristic productions filled with rhythmic precision and electronic sensitivity. Lewis Fautzi specialises in hypnotic and mental techno of immense depth, blending minimalist precision, atmospheric tension and constant energy. And we cannot forget Dr Smoke, an artist connected to the darker and more cerebral side of techno, with sets filled with industrial atmospheres, forceful percussion and a profoundly underground aesthetic.
Another highly anticipated performance comes from Mangles, a DJ associated with the rawest forms of industrial and experimental techno, delivering intense sets focused on dark and textured sounds. Dani Surco stands out through intensity and progressive tension-building on the dancefloor. Svreca, founder of Semantica Records, will guide audiences through abstract, hypnotic and conceptually deep sonic territories. Power, rhythmic complexity and intense atmospheres will arrive courtesy of Reeko.
We also have to mention The Lady Machine, one of the most respected figures in Brazilian techno, Nadia Struiwigh and her analogue experimentation, Rosa Damask — a project that perfectly encapsulates the natural elegance of the genre through a range of textures evoking the coldest side of darkness — and Stephanie Sykes.
To close, two luxury B2Bs. Elisa Batti B2B Jheal Bashta represents a meeting between two artists focused on high-voltage contemporary techno. And Sterac Electronics B2B The Advent brings together two legends of old-school electro and techno in a session loaded with analogue machines, classic rhythms and pure underground essence.
CONCLUSION
If you love electronic music in its purest form, if you are devoted to the most stimulating sounds, if you want to experience club culture at its fullest, then you have an unmissable appointment on September 25th and 26th at Lanna Festival.
