Goeran Meyer answers by keeping the rhythm understated and allowing the arrangement to evolve through texture, atmosphere and voice.

The result is a record that feels less interested in immediate gratification than in gradual immersion.

At the heart of the track is Johannes Tibursky, whose distinctive vocal gives the production an unusually tangible human quality.
