Following releases on the likes of Tube & Berger and Juliet Sikora’s Kittball and the icon Sasha’s Last Night On Earth along with a plethora of remixes in his back pocket, Fell Reis is back with a rework of his own ‘33 Years Later’. The release is now out as a free download via global music collective Melodic Deep.

Following a year hidden as the soundtrack for the campaign of Ushuaia’s Palmarama event last summer, Fell Reiss has brought his club edit of his label’s debut single ‘33 Years Later’ out for general consumption by the masses and we certainly are impressed with this one!
The club ready cut is a re-imagining of the debut release on the Ibiza based producer’s imprint HUE recs. A chugging, low-end groove drives the track with building, dramatic synths subtly building within the track as it reaches its climax. A four to the floor kick punctuates the track creating a dramatic, peak-time banger assisted by the vocals of Belgian singer D.Nada. The vocals feature prominently in the original, however throughout the remix they’re used more as an additional instrument, weaving effortlessly throughout the record’s complete arrangement. The record emotes visions of peak summer in Ibiza at some of the biggest clubs at the most illustrious events as the DJ brings their sets to its pinnacle. ‘33 Years Later’ would not seem out of place as the piece de resistance of a night at Solomun’s +1 at Pacha. This is for sure some proper peak time gear!
The record showcases Fell’s impeccable production skills and creativity. He flips the original entirely on its head and weaving together a track that could be described as nearly an original all of its own. Some impressive stuff here from the Brazil native.
2022 was a whirlwind year for the Ibiza based producer – having played a vast number of shows in his hometown. Fell Reis also traversed the globe playing in Singapore, Indonesia, Australia as well a number of European shows too. Fell has also been busy working with the legend that is Sasha on a collection of NFTs that were minted at this year’s ADE conference. The project brought together with 10 audio producers and 10 digital artists to celebrate 10 years of Sasha’s record label, Last Night on Earth of which Fell contributed a track.

They are the minds behind six of Ibiza’s biggest residencies at five of the island’s most iconic venues including Hï & Ushuaia, DC-10 & Amnesia. NYX’s current roster is composed of household names and brands across the dance music spectrum such as Amelie Lens (Exhale), The Martinez Brothers (Cuttin Headz) and Joseph Capriati (Metamorfosi) and Andrea Oliva. Quite the compliment of talent!
Expect more in 2023 from Fell & his HUE recs. imprint as they continue to carve their own niche in the hyper competitive world of house & techno. If this track is the appetizer, we can’t wait to see what the main course holds in 2023!
