A sultry storm of a start to Turkish global chart-topper Mahmut Orhan’s Chinois return residency ‘Sounds Like Pillowtalk’ on July 1st promised 8 more unmissable dates before August 26th. ‘Sounds Like Pillow Talk’ is a whisper-warm, intimate dancefloor experience where every night tells a different story, and the first night was the stuff of legends. Not only were Mahmut himself and fellow revered global DJ (and close friend) Francis Mercier on the decks, but the crowd was rocked by a surprise B2B including the world premiere of their new collab track ‘Sadete’, dropping on Francis’ album July 14th. Their solo sets also included Francis playing his track ‘Baiianá (Boa Noite)’ and ‘Feel My Needs’ (Purple Disco Machine edit), while Mahmut played the John Cala remix of his track ‘Saskin’, and Bad Bunny ‘NEVAYoL’. NXN and Manu Gonzalez respectively and ably opened and closed the fabulous night.
