The artist has shared an intimate love story for the first time.
Ukrainian singer OREST (real name Orest Galitsky), who recently got married, has spoken openly about his love story for the first time. Known for keeping his personal life away from the public eye, the artist has released “Eternity” — the first song he has dedicated to his wife.
According to OREST, “Eternity” is more than just a romantic song. It tells the story of love and the person with whom he chose to spend the rest of his life.
“Each of us dreams of finding our soulmate. For some, it happens sooner; others spend a lifetime searching. For me, it took exactly as long as it needed for me to realize that I had met the one. That period became my own personal eternity,” the artist shared.
OREST says that “Eternity” is one of the most emotional songs he has ever written. This time, he didn’t have to invent a story or search for inspiration, as every line was born from his own experiences.
“This is the first song I’ve ever written not just for someone, but specifically for my wife. And I’m sure it won’t be the last,” OREST says.
Despite being a public figure, the artist deliberately keeps the details of his family life private. He only reveals that he met his future wife at one of his concerts in Kyiv.
“We met at a concert in Kyiv. It’s a fun and interesting story that I’ll definitely tell someday. But my family is my personal space and my greatest treasure,” the singer explained.
His wife was the very first person to hear “Eternity.”
“She was the first to hear it, and she cried. Her reaction meant the world to me. Sharing a new song feels like revealing a piece of your inner world,” OREST admitted.
Alongside the release of the single, the artist also premiered the official music video for “Eternity,” a song that has become a symbol of a new chapter not only in his musical career but also in his personal life.
