Building momentum as a new electronic artist is never easy, but Sapian is already receiving support from a remarkable selection of established DJs and producers.
The young producer has caught the attention of names including Prospa, Josh Baker, Cloonee, Sosa, Omar+, Mau P and Rossi, helping his productions travel well beyond their original audience and into some of the most influential DJ sets around the international house scene.
Among those supporters, Prospa have played an important role in Sapian’s current trajectory. Their connection will become even more visible on August 14, when Sapian releases “Reason Why” on Prophecy, the label associated with the British duo.
The release follows a period in which Sapian’s music has increasingly been heard in DJ sets, helping create anticipation before his tracks officially arrive on streaming platforms.
Another major part of the story is “Takes Me”, currently one of Sapian’s most requested IDs. The track has been circulating through videos and live sets, with listeners attempting to identify and locate the production behind the growing number of clips appearing online.
The attention around “Takes Me” demonstrates one of the strongest indicators of Sapian’s current momentum: people are actively looking for his music before it has even received a conventional release campaign.
His upcoming schedule also includes a remix of CamelPhat’s “So Good”, scheduled for August 28 on When Stars Align. The remix gives Sapian the opportunity to reinterpret music from one of the UK’s most recognised electronic acts while continuing to develop his own profile.
The original “So Good” was released by CamelPhat, Josh Gigante and Kuuda through When Stars Align, making Sapian’s forthcoming version another notable addition to his growing catalogue.
With several records already attracting DJ support and two important releases scheduled in August, Sapian is quickly moving into a more prominent position within the electronic music landscape.
The next stage of his career will be about turning that early support into long-term recognition. If the reaction to his IDs and upcoming releases is anything to go by, Sapian is already well on his way.
