Teenage Mutants’ ‘Hyperspace’ is a decade in the making. Yes, you read that right. The German duo share a special one.
We’ve had a couple of tastes of Teenage Mutants powerful sonic touch on Drumcode. They debuted in 2023 with ‘Dark Clouds’, a gargantuan three-way collaboration with Heerhorst and PETER PAHN that was a highlight of the year. Late in 2025, they also contributed to A-Sides Vol.10 with ‘In the Dark’, a link-up with Tocadisco.
But we’ve never had them on Truesoul to date. What a treat ‘Hyperspace’ is. The track was first conceived in 2013, but the duo of Christian Samjol and Fabio Fernandes – the epitome of hard grafting, patient producers – bided their time through countless iterations till everything clicked.
“What you’re hearing now is the ultimate version for us – the result of years of work and refinement. It’s the most worked on track we’ve created since ‘Dark Clouds’ and also the most personal one,” Christian shares.
‘Hyperspace’ is an elegant slice of dancefloor gold – rolling and refined, with a foot in prog and techno alike and capped off by a unique vocal hook. Another standout from the talented producers.
