QRUK welcomes UMT for his debut release on the label with 20-Inch Rims EP, a dark three-track package featuring Manchester’s Kabo Cana. With roots stretching back to the golden era of UK Garage and a career spanning three decades, UMT brings a wealth of underground experience to the release, combining electro, breakbeat and UKG influences. The title track, 20-Inch Rims, rolls on stripped-back heavy subs and crunchy drums, delivering that raw QRUK energy.
Joining UMT on the EP, Kabo Cana returns to QRUK following several previous appearances on the label. Known for his bass-driven approach to House and UKG, Kabo adds his trademark weight across the release, helping shape a remix that’s built firmly for the dancefloor. Together, the pair lean into slightly darker territory than QRUK’s recent releases, delivering a sound that’s tough and ready to go.
