At last, individually and globally respected Colyn & Sainte Vie release their much-loved, eagerly awaited track and ‘special moment’ soundtrack to many, ‘Desert Sunrise’. There’s no denying, together, they are, and make, magic.
A year ago the two longtime friends, who’d shared a B3B with Innellea at Burning Man 2024, debuted their co-written spell-binding cut to open their Burning Man 2025 B2B set. Since then, ‘Desert Sunrise’ has been their individual sets’ secret weapon, igniting hearts and minds worldwide. Most recently, the two DJ/producers included it in their Tomorrowland 2026 B2B on the Planaxis stage. As their debut collab release, it’s now available to all, out on Interstellar Recordings.
The story of ‘Desert Sunrise’: ‘We wrote this track while preparing for our Maxa x Mayan Warrior sunrise set at Burning Man 2025. After sharing a sunrise set together the year before, we wanted to compose a special intro for this unforgettable moment and capture the feeling of a sunrise in the desert. Some songs become the soundtrack to moments you’ll never forget, and this has been one of those for us. Every time we hear it, it brings back incredible memories. Growling bass synth supports resonant, melodic themes ringing clear and intoxicating as desert air, while slow, euphoric chords evoke the emotion-stirring power of progressive/melodic electro at its best.
