Sometimes things just click. Insta pen pals, the duo of Charles D and KAF3R has been trading chat and tunes for a while when one day KAF3R shared a sketch that cut through the noise. “I’d been a fan of KAF3R’s music for a while, especially his track ‘Lost in Space. You hear so much music scrolling through Instagram, but this was one of those ideas that actually made me stop what I was doing,” Charles shares.
KAF3R quickly shared the stems and Charles got to work putting his unique stamp on the track, with the pair enjoying a seamless synergy that saw the track finished within a week. “The whole creative process flowed naturally, and after a few versions, we ended up with a final track that’s full of energy and power. I’m really excited for everyone to hear it,” KAF3R adds.
Indeed, this is special stuff. One of those tracks that makes you want to go raving; a proper tune that’s simultaneously proggy, trancey, dirty and chugging all in one. A peak-time tune made for 4am moments when everything goes deliciously sideways.
