Anjunadeep, Above & Beyond’s London-based deep house label, announces a Chinois takeover on Thursday, 8th August.
Over the 20 years since its inception, Anjunadeep has gained an impressive roster of artists, shared over 800 releases and hosted beloved events worldwide. Serious lovers of electronic music have taken to the label, making Anjunadeep the perfect host for a Thursday night at Chinois, where the venue’s music-first mantra of events ‘from the dancefloor up’ is on full display. Together with its Asian opulence, cutting edge sound system, fabulous cocktails, striking visuals, and diverse range of artists, Chinois is the perfect venue and partner for Anjunadeep’s showcase.
Eli & Fur: the London-born, LA-based platonic soulmates’ dark, emotive dance anthems, evocative vocals, cascading synths, have graced stages like Coachella, Cercle festival, Tomorrowland, Printworks… with several releases on Anjunadeep including their debut album ‘Found In The Wild’, as well as on Cercle, Armada Deep and their own NYX music.
Romain Garcia: Paris-born, of Spanish roots, his melodic techno/house featuring both influences, sound and voice samples, hypnotic rhythms and soaring intensity, has found a home on Anjunadeep on multiple compilations, EPs and singles. He’s alsa released on Cercle and Ton Topferei.
Simon Doty: the Canadian’s emotional, melodic house, combining spiritual beauty of composition and self-taught tech mastery, is heard and loved world-wide at top venues, with releases including several singles and a debut album ‘Universal Language’ on Anjunadeep, along with cuts on Last Night On Earth, Purified, SHÈN recordings…
Yotto: the Helsinki Deep House/Techno maestro is a Anjuna regular, inc. his ‘Hyperfall’ debut LP, and has streams in the hundred millions, tracks on all top playlists, world tours inc. Printworks, thousands of plays on SiriusXM, support from Pete Tong, and his own sought-after Odd One Out imprint.
