The notorious high-energy producer/DJ/performer attracts vast crowds of feverish devoted ravers worldwide with his musically, aesthetically and hedonistically exhilarating shows, provocative performances, and releases spanning breakbeat, acid house, ghetto-tech, electro and beyond. Partiboi69 has serious composing and songwriting skills and musical knowledge behind the fun however, shown by his most recent release ‘Call of the Void’ on Running Back. His Mutual Pleasure record label is a platform for fresh international talent alongside his own releases.
‘Double Drop’: 3.5min of insanely fast rave-juice, a hailstorm of tingling hi-hat showers, thumping drum, pizzicato bass melody and repeating title riff until the full spoken vocal ‘double drop, never stop, let that booty pop…’, raising ravers’ temperatures to roof-height, barely relieved by two brief breakdowns offering an eponymous ‘double drop’ which will cause minds to be ecstatically lost on dance floors everywhere.
