Bees & Honey continue their dynamic ascent with the release of “CC Like That,” their first solo track of 2025. Following a year already marked by five original releases, this Afrohouse-driven single emerges as a vibrant testament to the collective’s expansive creative vision.
The track follows the global success of their reimagined version of “Show Me Love,” which broke into the worldwide Top 10 and cemented Bees & Honey as Germany’s DJ act with the most monthly listeners.
“CC Like That” seamlessly intertwines Zulu lyrics with contemporary English verses, crafting a narrative that celebrates cultural unity and the exuberance of summer. The track opens with a poignant Zulu refrain:
“Let’s talk and remember generations / In our country we live with love and enthusiasm / A medium fire doesn’t just go out / Our voice rise like the falling rain.”
These words anchor the song in tradition, evoking themes of resilience and communal strength. As the composition unfolds, Bees & Honey member Jazz Montell Wade introduces English verses that infuse the piece with youthful energy and a sense of carefree joy.
